Edo Levamisol

 

Indications:

In cattle, sheep, and goats, for the treatment of infestations caused by the following parasites:
Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Haemonchus placei, Ostertagia circumcincta, Ostertagia ostertagi, Cooperia spp., Bunostomum spp., Chabertia ovina, Neoascaris vitulorum, and Dictyocaulus filaria.
In swine, for the treatment of infestations caused by: Ascaris suum, Metastrongylus apri, Hyostrongylus spp., and Oesophagostomum spp.

Composition:

 

Every 100 ml contains:
Levamisole HCI 15.0 g
CSP excipients 100 ml

Bovine

Pigs

Sheep

Product presentations:

20 mL, 100 mL, 500 mL

Dose:

Cattle: Intramuscular injection in the rump; subcutaneous injection in the neck or behind the shoulder joint.
Sheep : Subcutaneous injection behind the shoulder joint or in the groin.
Swine: Subcutaneous injection behind the ear or intramuscular injection in the ham.
It is recommended to administer 1 mL per 30 kg of body weight.
In practice, follow the dosage table.

The indicated dose may be repeated according to the degree of parasitic infestation, or at the discretion of the veterinarian.
Maximum dose per application site: 15 mL.

Administration / mode of use:

Intramuscular, subcutaneous injection.

Precautions

Do not use in horses.
EDO-LEVAMISOL 15, like all injectable products, must be administered with new syringes and needles and under aseptic conditions. The use of sterile injection equipment is recommended.
Do not mix in the same syringe or container with any other product.
EDO-LEVAMISOL 15 does not cause adverse effects during gestation or in offspring.
Containers must be disposed of according to post-consumer collection programs.

 

Withdrawal Period: Treated animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 3 days after the end of treatment. Milk produced during treatment and for 24 hours after its completion must not be used for human consumption.

Contraindications

Never use intravenously.
