Indications:
In cattle, sheep, horses, swine, goats and dogs; for the treatment of respiratory, urinary and reproductive tract infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to penicillin G and/or streptomycin such as: Streptococcus sp., Actinobacillus sp., Corynebacterium sp., Clostridium sp., Leptospira sp., Actinomyces sp., Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothrix sp., Fusobacterium sp., Listeria sp., Haemophilus sp., Escherichia coli, Campylobacter sp.

Dose:
Edo Benpropen: 2 MUI. Dosage: It is recommended to apply 1mL of the reconstituted product per 20 Kg of weight.
Edo Benpropen: 4 MUI: Dosage: It is recommended to apply 1mL of the reconstituted product for every 20 Kg of weight.
Edo Benpropen: 6 MUI: Dosage: It is recommended to apply 1mL of the reconstituted product for every 20 Kg of weight.
Frequency: Every 12 hours for 3 days or at the discretion of the Veterinarian.
Reconstitution:
Edo Benpropen 2 MUI: Add 8mL of sterile diluent to the vial of BENPROPEN 2,000,000 IU (total volume 10.0mL); shake until a homogeneous suspension is obtained.
Edo Benpropen 4 MUI: Add 16 mL of sterile diluent to the vial of BENPROPEN 4,000,000 IU (total volume 20.0 mL); shake until a homogeneous suspension is obtained.
Use immediately after reconstitution.
Edo Benpropen 6 MUI: Add 24 mL of sterile diluent to the vial of BENPROPEN 6,000,000 IU (total volume 30.0 mL); shake until a homogeneous suspension is obtained.
Use immediately after reconstitution.
Precautions
Do not administer to cats. Do not administer during the last trimester of pregnancy. Sterile injection equipment is recommended. Do not mix in the same syringe or container with any other product.
Withdrawal period: Treated animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 30 days after the end of treatment. Milk produced during treatment and for 6 days after its completion must not be used for human consumption.
Stay out of the reach of children and domestic animals
Contraindications
Do not administer to patients sensitive to penicillin G or procaine. These may produce reactions ranging from hypersensitivity (urticarial manifestations) to anaphylactic shock.
