Function:

Broad spectrum antibiotic for the treatment of uterine infections.

 

Composition:

 

Each 100 mL of suspension contains:
sulfadiazine  4.0g
trimethoprim 0.8g
csp excipients 100ml

Dose and Frequency of treatment:

Apply 30 mL of Metrilab for every 400 kg of weight, which is equivalent to 360 mg of Sulfa-trimethoprim for every 100 kg of weight. The duration of the treatment is from 3 to 5 days according to the criteria of the Veterinary Doctor.

Route of Administration / Mode of Use:

Intrauterine.

How to use: Shake before use. Remove the cap of the syringe, assemble the catheter and Metrilab will be ready for use, introduce the catheter through the cervix if the infection is located within it, pressing the plunger of the syringe so that the product penetrates deeply .

Indications

In cattle, horses, sheep and pigs for intrauterine use in the treatment of uterine infections caused by: Escherichia coli, Corynebacterium sp., Campylobacter sp., Shigella sp., Streptococcus sp., Sthapylococcus sp., Proteus sp., Aerobacter sp.

Precautions

Withdrawal time: 

“Treated animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 14 days after the end of treatment. Do not administer to cows or sheep producing milk for human consumption.

Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Sale under formula of the Veterinary Doctor.
